We look forward to spring in Australia as in September our gardens come to life with new blooms and a wonderful display of colour as nature does her work. But going against nature and all human reason, President Obama is determined to bring in winter to Israel this September. Bowing to King Abdullah and grovelling to the world’s Muslims in Cairo did not endear Obama to his Ummah, so now Obama seeks to do what every good Muslim must do, and that is, to destroy Israel.
Well, Allah has demanded it, hasn’t he?
Obama’s speech on 19th May 2011 is possibly the most dangerous for world peace that an American President has ever made, and one that defies International law to reward a group of violent thugs in the PLO who have sworn to destroy Israel. Consider Article 9 of the PLO Charter which states:
“Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine. Thus it is the overall strategy, not a tactical phase”.
But many of Obama’s recent foreign policy decisions have been erratic and puzzling.
The world media have been talking about the “Arab Spring” referring to popular uprisings in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Yemen and even Jordan. However, these uprisings are not about democracy and peace in the Middle East, but rather this Arab Spring will bring an early winter to Israel in September when the UN votes to form a Palestinian state along the pre-1967 borders.
The Irrational Foreign Policy of Obama
While claiming to be a Christian, Obama has ignored the total persecution of the Coptic Christians in Egypt and now favours a more radical and dangerous government under the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood. Obama has largely ignored the atrocities in Darfur, Syria, Iran, Yemen and Jordan and instead chose to attack a benign leader in the aging Colonel Gaddafi of Libya and has engaged the NATO forces in a murky battle.
Israel's Prime Minister Bejamin Netanyahu responds to President Obama's call for Israel and Palestine to return to pre-1967 borders
Obama has set the tone for the UN meeting in September by demanding the Palestinian borders include most of Judea and Samaria and with East Jerusalem as its capital. The UN only requires a simple majority and already 110 nations have declared they will support the move to force a Palestinian state on Israel. Italy has recently joined the ranks of nations supporting this. Shame on Italy!
Implications of enforcing pre 1967 Borders
There are two clear points that must be made:
- Israel becomes virtually defenceless if these borders are enforced
- These borders are illegal according to International Law
Swapping land for peace does not work.
In 1938, Czechoslovakia was forced to surrender the Sudetenland only to have Germany invade a year later.
In 2005, Israel withdrew from Gaza under the terms of the Oslo agreement which was supposed to bring peace but instead it brought over 10,000 rockets fired indiscriminately into Israel and a flurry of activity smuggling arms from Egypt using tunnels.
Obama knows, his military advisors know and the world knows that trading land does not guarantee peace.
A Brief History of Israel
1917 the Mandate for Palestine was created after WWI to be a permanent home for the Jewish people.
1920 the San Remo conference on 25th April approved the Mandate for Palestine for the Jews as well as boundaries for Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.
1922 the Mandate for Palestine was approved by all nations in the League of Nations.
1946 the British divided the Mandate for Palestine and gave the land east of the Jordan river to form the state of Jordan. The land to the west of the Jordan, or 22% of the mandate, was given to Israel.
1947 UN Resolution 181 gifted more land to the Arabs but they voted as a block against the resolution.
1948 On the 14th March, the state of Israel came into being. The surrounding Arab nations started an illegal war to destroy the newly created state of Israel. Israel won the conflict.
1948 UN General Assembly passed Resolution 194 which addressed the demilitarization and refugee issues.
Paragraph 11 of Resolution 194 allowed for a right of return only if two conditions were met.
(1) They are willing to live in peace with their neighbours, and
(2) The return takes place at “the earliest practicable date”.
Resolution 194 paragraph 11 also provided for compensation but it applied to the Arab states as well.
Interestingly, the Arab states of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen voted against the Resolution.
British Mandate 1920-1946
It was only after World War I, at the Paris Peace Conference, that the name "Palestine" was applied to a clearly defined piece of territory - the area which today comprises Israel and Jordan. It was agreed that "Palestine" was to become a League of Nations Mandate, entrusted to Great Britain.
Under the terms of the Mandate, Britain's principal obligation was to facilitate the implementation of the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917, which pledged "the establishment of a national home for the Jewish people."
No territorial restrictions whatsoever - neither east nor west of the Jordan River were placed on the Jewish National Home. The Mandate stipulated that Britain was to "facilitate Jewish immigration under suitable conditions and encourage close settlement by Jews on the land."
Britain’s Partition of 1946
In spite of this action, however, Transjordan remained in every way part of the Palestine Mandate. The Mandate laws remained in effect in Transjordan, and Palestine Mandate currency was the legal tender. Jews in western Palestine as well as Arabs in East and West Palestine carried Palestine Mandate passports . It was only 24 years later, in 1946, that Britain unilaterally granted Transjordan its independence. With By granting Transjordan's independence, the British had partitioned Palestine and created an independent Palestine-Arab state east of the Jordan River.
Boundaries after the 1967 War
Within six days, Israel had captured the entire Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria, and the Golan Heights. This time, however, Israel did not withdraw to the 1949 armistice lines. International guarantees had proved meaningless in the past, and could not provide the security Israel's civilians needed to live their lives free of terrorist attacks. The cease-fire lines of 1967, shown on this map, remained Israel's borders until 1973. Terrorist raids from Egypt ended, and other raids, from Jordan and Syria, greatly diminished. Although Israel's security forces were able to prevent many of the terrorists' raids, the terrorists were able to keep secure bases in Jordan and Lebanon, eventually leading to internal conflicts in both countries.
Jerusalem in focus
The Arabs are claiming East Jerusalem as their capital but they have no strong basis either from the Quran or history. Indeed from the References below, the 1949 Armistice lines are not boundaries at all but merely demarcation lines. Consider the vunerability of Israel if the UN pushes through its false boundaries based on the dark brown line rather than the legal boundary shown by the light brown line.
From a Biblical Perspective
Jerusalem is God’s Holy city forever and mount Moriah is God’s Holy mountain.
The Quran contains not a single reference to Jerusalem, but states that Mecca is holy to Allah.
A Bible prophecy calls the Dome of the Rock an “Abomination that desolates”. [Daniel 12:11]
In the Bible, Mecca is referred to as a harlot city which is drunk with the blood of the saints and the blood of the witnesses to Jesus. [Revelation 17] Mecca will be burned up in a single day because her sins are piled high to Heaven. [Revelation 18] Islam also predicts this destruction of Mecca (and Medina).
It should be important to every Christian and Jew to oppose any move to make East Jerusalem a capital for a people who follow Allah who God despises. Moreover control of the Holy mountain should be given to Jews only and the Dome of the Rock should be abolished as it is an abomination to God.
OBAMA Speech to Middle East 19th May 2011
Here is an extract of points made by Obama.
“Hilary Clinton will go down as one of the finest Secretaries of State in our nation’s history”.
May God help us all!
“Bin Laden was a mass murderer who offered a message of hate, and insisted that Muslims take up arms, and violence against men, women and children was the only path to change”.
So did Mohammed. Fight the unbeliever with every strategy of war [Sura 9:5]
Terror makes you victorious [Bukhari 4.52.220] Strike at their necks. [Sura 8:12]
“The nations of the Middle East and North Africa won their independence long ago, but many people did not”.
Islam and Sharia is about submission, not independence. That is pure Islam.
“Antagonism towards Israel became the acceptable outlet for political expression”.
The Jews are the vilest of creatures. Fight and kill them until they hide behind a rock or a tree and the rock or the tree says there is a Jew behind me come and kill him. [Sura 8:55, Muslim book 41 no. 6985]
“We support a set of universal rights. Those rights include free speech; the freedom of peaceful assembly; freedom of religion; equality for men and women under the rule of law”.
Obama, Islam does not support universal rights or free speech and Sharia law enshrines inequalities and slavery.
“We do not want a democratic Egypt to be saddled by the debts of its past. So we will relieve a democratic Egypt of up to $1 billion in debt, and work with our Egyptian partners to foster growth and entrepreneurship”.
Firstly, Egyptians do not want democracy. About 80% of Egyptians and 90% of Muslims voted for Sharia law and secondly, the new leaders want to cancel the agreement with Israel (very Islamic) and march on Israel to destroy the country. How will the one billion dollars be spent, Obama?
And on the Palestine issue:
“The fact is a growing number of Palestinians live west of the Jordan River”.
Yes, since 2004, Jordan has been cancelling their passports making it impossible to return home to Jordan.
Jordan was created with 78% of the Mandate for Palestine to be home to the Arab people.
“The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states”.
The 1948 borders are the ones approved by the UN and should stand. Equally, Palestinian Arabs were given Jordan as their homeland and this should stand. There is absolutely no need to create yet another “two state” solution as one already exists.
Obama seems naive and ignorant of Islam and its designs on Israel and would leave Israel virtually defenceless if these border changes are made.

Both the UN Secretary General and President Obama have called for Israel to surrender. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon reiterated that the world body expects Israel to immediately surrender to internationally-backed Arab demands that it relinquish all claims to the Jews’ biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria and half of their ancient capital of Jerusalem. The Jewish presence in the so-called “West Bank,” which includes the eastern half of Jerusalem, is “morally and politically unsustainable, and must end,” Ban insisted during a press conference in Uruguay.
The free world has swallowed the big lie that Israel has no right to its land and President Obama is set to put the nail in the coffin in September at the UN meeting. The Arab world already has a simple majority for the vote, having 110 nations supporting the “Palestinian state”. Only Obama has a right to veto but he is unlikely to do so. The truth is that under International law, Israel’s boundaries have been set at the land west of the Jordan river and include Samaria, Judea, Gaza, Golan Heights and all of Jerusalem. Arab nations started an illegal war in 1948 which they lost and the territory recaptured in 1967 only restored the status quo. [5,6]
A Call to ACTION
Don’t let the Arab Spring turn into a Winter for Israel.
Write to the Foreign Minister, Kevin Rudd, our Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, your local MP and as many MPs and Senators as you can.
- Palestinians already have a state decided in 1946 and it is called Jordan
- International law should be respected so Samaria, Judea, Gaza, Golan Heights and all of Jerusalem legally and rightfully belongs to Israel
- Supporting the UN vote will surely bring on war in the Middle East which could easily become a global conflict.
Tell them that we stand with Israel.
You can write to all MPs and Senators as below.
