Although a person without any religious faith Ayaan Hirsi Ali understands that to win against Islam we need another religion, another faith to give an alternative to Muslims.
And Christianity , as a religion of love and compassion gives us such opportunity.
Hirsi Ali is now an atheist, and counts British atheist campaigner Richard Dawkins as a close friend.
But she believes Christianity can combat the rise of conservative Islam.
"Churches should do all in their power to win this battle for the souls of humans in search of a compassionate God, who now find that a fierce Allah is closer to hand," she writes in Nomad. (source)

Last night in Melbourne, where Ayaan graced the Wheeler Centre stage, she demolished a young female “Secular Party” questioner who tried to introduce “fundamentalist Christianity” as being on a par with fundamentalist islam and, therefore, as much a part of the problem as radical islam. In her rebuttal Ayaan also had a huge swipe at the twittering audience members who applauded the question.
She put it to them, to paraphrase; “And what are you doing?”
Ayaan told them that the carping, superior tone of the anti-Christian movement – for that is what it is – was advantaging islam and doing damage to the one arm of western culture that was actively engaging islam. THAT received a far larger cheer!

1) ban Christian prayers in Parliament

Hirsi Ali is a brave woman. Despite her life being in danger, she has no regrets about leaving the prison that is Islam. Better to be an apolstate under threat in the free world than a life lived under Islam
Incredibly many in the West still don't get it. Despite constant manifestations of the violence of Islam and the threats by individual Muslims when they migrate to our country, the intelligentsia can still cling to the notion that it is our "racism" that is causing them to react violently against us and were it not for this, they would be peaceful.
There is an irrationality verging on derangement which has taken over academia and some of the media, which will praise Islam and denigrate our civilisation.
As you say Blue Heeler, those who try to bring in "fundamentalist Christianity" as on a par with "fundamentalist Islam" are very much a a part of the problem. The Secular Party despises all religions, so how can it stand up to the greatest threat to Western civilisation?
Fred Nile is termed a "fundamentalist Christian", but Christians believe in separation between Church and State. Therefore, he subscribes to the principles of democracy, and is not trying to overturn it and introduce Canon law. A Muslim MP, on the other hand, by standing for Parliament, is trying to subvert the Parliamentary process and replace our system by sharia.
If the intelligentsia cannot see the obvious difference between Christianity and Islam, they are even dumber than I imagined. And that's saying a lot!
