Many in Australia are familiar with Kevin Rudd’s amibitions to be an international statesman - he seems to spend more time overseas than in his own country which has resulted in the quip that ‘It is rumoured Mr Rudd may visit Australia soon.’ Kevin Rudd would like a seat for Australia on the Security Council and is doing his best to get one.
Australia has not held a seat on the Security Council for more than 20 years. Mr Rudd has cast his foreign policy as consisting of three pillars - the US alliance, engagement with Asia and leadership in multilateral organisations. A Security Council seat would be the crowning achievement of the multilateral pillar. (source)

To readers:
Recently, the reputable International Journal of Cardiology accepted for publication the following essay penned by a group of four Islamists. I may assume them to be of Cardiology Professionals albeit of Islamic mind.
The heart and cardiovascular system in the Qur'an and Hadeeth written by Marios Loukas, Yousuf Saad, R. Shane Tubbs and Mohamadali M. Shojawhich.
The readers must read the above essay in the following web site: HERE

How our world has changed! These days it is impossible to escape the daily news of a suicide bomber somewhere in Iraq or Pakistan, a Christian girl captured and forcibly converted to Islam in Egypt, raging mobs burning Churches in Indonesia, rape epidemics by Muslim men in England and Sweden and the constant threats to blow up the West because we have “insulted” the Religion of Peace. And we in the West meekly accept what the Imams tell us, that Jews, Christians and Muslims all worship the same God.
Of course, the Quran confirms this in Sura 29.46:
“And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our Allah and your Allah is One, and unto Him we surrender”.

You've heard the expression "Eyeless in Gaza" which comes from poem 'Samson Agonistes' by John Milton:
.. Promise was that I
Should Israel from Philistian yoke deliver;
Ask for this great deliverer now, and find him
Eyeless in Gaza at the Mill with slaves ...

Since the dawn of time, animals have been both revered and demonized by humans. Some were viewed as bringing luck and others pestilence and other such ills. But this begs the question, what religious practices do our native Australian animals adhere to?
The two most enduring animal symbols of Australia are the Koala and the Kangaroo.

Anyone with any true knowledge of both Islam and the Fort Hood massacre, must like me, feel like screaming at the sheer insanity of the 86 page ‘report’ on the Fort Hood massacre that doesn’t even mention Islam, Muslim or jihad in the main body of the text (a tiny reference occurs in a footnote!). Is it ignorance, PC lies, fear or the sheer desire to hide the deadly danger of Islam ? The misconstructions and twists needed, the complete cognitive dissonance required is stunning.

Perhaps some readers might be interested to know that January 28 is considered a feast day among Catholics – actually 2 feast days are celebrated on the same day – one is of ST Thomas Aquinas, the great medieval theologian and philosopher who adapted Aristotle to the western Judeo-Christian worldview. . It is also the feast day of a lesser known person – St Peter Nolasco, the great ransomer of captives from the Muslims.

Melbournian Supporter
Thursday January 14 2010 was a day I shall never forget. A colleague asked me to help support Melburnian Coptic Christians by joining their protest march against Islamic oppression of their families in Egypt. I read all I could about their plight and was convinced I should go.
After a three hour service in St Paul's, a large crowd assembled outside the cathedral, including several reresentatives from other denominations.

Vegemite has gone HALAL!
A number of Australian newspapers delivered this news to the public just before the Australia Day to put us in a truly cheerful mood.
VEGEMITE has gone halal in a bid by food giant Kraft to make the national "treasure" available to Muslim Australians.
The label on Australia's most famous spread has changed in recent months to include halal certification in a move some have described as "ridiculous" political correctness. (source)

We at AIM have frequently lamented the corruption of NGOs, which even if initially set up as a force for good, now mainly champion Islamic supremacist aspirations, while ignoring the oppression of its many victims. Here's an example of two BAD NGOs:
1. Geoff Dickson wrote in UNRWA – the Really Wicked Agency - (24-02-09):
In 1948 neighboring Arab states urged Arabs living in Israel to leave because they were going to destroy Israel. As a result up to 600,000 Arabs moved into the Gaza area and were settled into “temporary” camps. The Gaza area is now home to some 4,200,000 “refugees”.

After so many months of battling for her freedom, hopefully Rifqa has seen the last of court rooms till August.
Tuesday 19th January was the very important hearing for her request to become a dependent of the state of Ohio.
My sources are Robert Spencer's “Jihad Watch” 20/1/10 and Jamal Jivanjee's report which was sent by e-mail to me and others interested in this case.
A big thank you to those who prayed and pressured the Franklin County Children's Services with e-mails and letters to take Rifqa's case seriously as she feared for her life. Her father still denies threatening her with death and as you will see below, the threat is still present.

This week, Geert Wilders, the leader of the Dutch Freedom Party (PVV) went on trial on charges of inciting hatred and discrimination toward Islam but in fact he is on trial for executing his right to free speech and expressing his views on Islam.
In my humble opinion this trial is one of the most decisive events in the European and perhaps world history for many different reasons, of which the survival of human freedom is the most imortant one.
The text posted below is Geert Wilders' opening speech from the first day of his trial:

A new year, a new crop of dhimwits. I'd like to shine a light on some lesser-known individuals, as they too deserve their moment in the sun. So this month, I will focus on just three:
1. Jon Stanhope, for helping to Islamize our capital city.
(with thanks to Antimo)
Local residents in the Canberra suburb of Nicholls have managed to put off plans for a Mosque there. Unfortunately, dhimmi ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope now wants to try to establish a mosque elsewhere in the area that is twice the size of the original proposal. Coming after Stanhope's recent approval of a massive new Canberra madrassah, it seems he is hell bent on Islamizing Canberra:

The Allure of Fantasy
As readers are aware Tim Fischer earned the name Dhimwit of the year for 2009. Not everyone is a dhimwit, and not every dhimwit is a prize dhimwit, but Tim has leapt high mountains of ignorance and sped faster than speeding bullets of political correctness to earn his title of disgrace. As pointed out in previous AIM articles, Tim Fischer, deputy PM served from 1996 until 1999 under John Howard, and then retired from politics [in 1999] to pursue other interests. What were those interests? Well his interest in Middle Eastern matters had been developing for some time and he heard the alluring call of the bulldust echoing over the Arabian desert, beckoning him towards Riyadh so to speak. As Dan Zaremba pointed out:

The news that Ahmed Fahour is to be the head of Australia Post came as a shock.
To most Australians, the postal service is part of the fabric of our life, and despite the advent of emails, most still go to buy stamps, post parcels and even pay our bills.
So does it matter that a Muslim is heading yet another top job?
Well, to me it is just another nail in the coffin for our free and democratic society.

As the world quietly slipped into a new year, how many people noticed a dramatic change that has the potential to kill off Old Europe, banish democracy and eradicate Christianity? We reported last year how with the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty that the EU now had its own constitution, one that supercedes all of the 27 member nation’s constitutions. This one act has left the EU with a Marxist style government where NO referendums are allowed, where its law makers are unelected, unaccountable faceless men, and where the European Parliament is a sham having no powers other than to “amend” legislation. What came into effect on January 1st 2010 is EuroMed which is a “partnership” of the new EU nation with about 16 nations bordering the Mediterranean sea.

It's not often that we can report good news from dhimmi UK, so this victory is all the sweeter.
Victory Headline 1:
March through Wootton Bassett by Anjem Choudary's Islam4UK cancelled.
Islam4UK has cancelled controversial plans to hold an anti-war march through Wootton Bassett - the town which honours repatriated British soldiers.
The Islamic organisation's proposals had received widespread criticism, with PM Gordon Brown condemning the proposed demonstration as "abhorrent and offensive."
MPs had urged local authorities and the Home Secretary Alan Johnson to step in to prevent the procession in the Wiltshire town.

This is a timeline (with comments), of Muslim Turkish conquests in Asia Minor, the Balkans and associated areas, and the resistance of the local people from the 11th to the 21st century with particular emphasis on the 14th to 16th century (note Constantinople 1453) and the 19th (early 20th). (particularly the Bulgarian and Armenian massacres in 1876, 1894-96, 1915) I hope the time line helps gain a feel for the incessant, relentless attacks over centuries, the sadism, enslavement, subjugation, repression, famine, poverty, destruction and cultural regression brought by these Muslims in the name of allah, on the ordinary people. And I hope it shows that from the beginning people fought back—although farmers find it hard to fight religiously driven armed fighters hell bent on enforcing Islam and claiming women, children, property and goods as their promised booty, a ‘mercy’ from allah. Eg Ishaq p 326-327-booty is lawful and a mercy from allah so enjoy..., Koran 8.29 enjoy your war booty as lawful and good.., Koran 33.26-27...he caused you to inherit their land, houses, wealth, and land you haven’t trodden..
The Ottomans (Osmanlis) and those that joined them were fanatical Muslims engaged in a religious war to make all Islamic or at least subjugated under and serving, Muslims. The filthy, loathsome ‘kafir’ deserved to have everything taken and be enslaved as punishment for failing to believe in allah (see parts A, B for text and laws)

Australia has just hosted the Parliament of World Religions [1] in Melbourne where hatred of Israel resulted in the dumping of Judaism as a religion. There is a noticeable world-wide surge in hatred towards Israel as the world careers recklessly towards a global conflict. Throughout Europe there is a multitude of Palestinian Solidarity groups emerging which all have as a common theme, a pathological hatred of Israel. As we have reported recently, Saudi oil money has washed over Ireland, bribing Government officials, and seeing mosques appearing in what was once a strong Christian country. The late Sheik Khalid bin Mahfouz played a dominant role and we have seen the establishment of a Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPAC) [2] which is bitterly anti-Israel and now the Ireland Palestine Solidarity campaign (IPSC) [3] which holds rallies in Grafton street Dublin to protest about the wall built by the Israelis to stop the suicide bombers from wreaking havoc amongst Israel’s innocent citizens.
